Exploring the influence of socioeconomic status and race on ADHD diagnosis in children: A mixed methods study.

This project explores how a young person’s economic status, and ethnic background might influence whether they are given a diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. It uses both number-based analysis and exploration into patient notes to understand the possible reasons behind any differences in who receives this diagnosis.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
