Are people from ethnic minority backgrounds with a diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) more likely to be prescribed with antipsychotics?

  • Applicant: Gayan Perera
  • Project ID: 25-116

The project explores whether people from ethnic minority populations with borderline personality disorder (BPD) are more likely to be prescribed with antipsychotic medication at higher rates than white people with the same condition. It aims to identify inequalities in treatment approaches for BPD and to inform evidence-based care.
