Investigating ambient voice technology as a tool to increase clinical contact time in mental health services

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is trialing a new tool in its Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services to automatically take appointment notes and write reports. In this project, we will investigate whether using this tool frees-up clinician time to conduct more appointments and see more patients.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
