Development and testing of a natural language processing application to describe gait in mental disorders

  • Applicant: Clara Belessiotis
  • Project ID: 26-009

People with mental health conditions or dementia may have problems with walking due to their illness or the medicines they take, which can increase the risk of falls and other health issues. This project will use computer methods to find descriptions of walking problems in written health records and explore how these relate to, for example, falls and medications.
