Audit of identification and management of alcohol use and alcohol-related problems across triage wards in SLaM

To collect retrospective information on the identification and management of alcohol and drug use disorders in consecutive admission to SLaM triage wards between October and December 2013 and to compare the quality of the data collected with Trust policies and NICE guidelines.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
