An audit of deaths occurring in patients treated by SLaM Addictions

Patients treated in Addictions CAG have a high burden of physical health problems Addiction. We have identified more than 200 who have died (at an average age around 45) in the last 5 years. We are seeking to improve care by ascertaining causes of death, and identifying how these premature deaths may potentially be prevented

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
