It is a national project to build up a central library of information (or “BioBank)” about people’s health. It will be used in scientific/medical research to help us better understand why different illnesses happen and how we can develop better treatments for them. We aim to collect:• Biological samples from patients – blood and/or saliva/ cheek swabs for genetic and biochemical testing.• Clinical data – Examinations by doctors, family information, participant’s response to treatment etc.• Neuroimaging data – X-rays and brain scans.
