What was the clinical impact of introducing the Lambeth Triage Ward.

  • Applicant: David McLaughlan
  • Project ID: 14-065

In the Autumn of 2011, the triage model for psychiatric inpatient admission was introduced to the borough of Lambeth. To date, this novel admissions model, has been evaluated in terms of it’s effect on average length of admission, cost of admission and also the wider patient and staff experience. However, as yet, there has been no analysis of the clinical impact. This project aims to determine the clinical impact of the new admissions model to patient health outcome measures in the borough of Lambeth.
