Violent victimisation in SLaM – a clinical records-based free text search study

  • Applicant: Vishal Bhavsar
  • Project ID: 15-061

Violence is an important social problem, and poses considerable problems for mental health services. Although the overall occurrence of violence in society seems to be falling, violence exposure among people with mental illness remains a considerable problem. Estimates of how much violent victimization there is in SLaM patients are unavailable, and could be important in developing targeted interventions.
