Employment and Health: Workings of the Fit Note

This project tracks the paths of patients who have received a fit note from their GP. We aim to find out whether the point at which a fit note is given to a patient is also an opportunity for GPs to offer patients supportive health care interventions. We would like to track the interventions offered to this group of patients, and their work and health outcomes. We hope to do this by following patients through primary care, secondary psychiatric services and psychological services (IAPT).
