Depression in late-life is one of the most prevalent mental disorders in old age and is related to diminished quality of life, risk of suicide and worse physical illnesses. However, there are substantial number of patients who response poorly to the current treatment. Information on predictors and natural history of depression in late-life may help improve treatment strategy in the patients. This study will utilise clinical data from the CRIS to find relevant predictors and find a trajectory of patients’ outcome. Furthermore, the study will explore relationship of depressive disorder with dementia, anxiety disorder and available brain imaging results.
