Investigating the role of glutamate and the N-methyl-D-aspartate-Receptor (NMDAR) in psychosis | C4C

A large body of evidence suggests that the brain chemical glutamate and its receptor (NMDA receptor) are abnormal in schizophrenia. We seek to test this using neuroimaging techniques (PET &MRI) in patients with schizophrenia.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
