Frailty is one of the most complex issues associated with human ageing and to date no frailty assessment tool has been developed for or validated in older adult populations with a diagnosis of functional mental illness. As part of this research project a specialist frailty assessment tool has been developed to address this gap which will be pilot tested with older adults with a diagnosis of functional mental illness to establish its reliability and validity.
