Identification of Presentations of Dual Diagnosis in a Homeless Outreach Team

This project aims to find out the extent/scale of dual diagnosis (clinical presentations of psychosis or other ‘severe and enduring’ mental health issues as well as drug or alcohol misuse) within the START Team caseload. This will help to assess clients’ needs and with targeting interventions for current clients and planning further interventions in the future.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
