Psychotropic medication prescribing in patients with serious mental illnesses.

At present little is known about the different patterns of psychotropic medication prescribing in patients with serious mental illnesses and whether patients receiving different psychotropic medications differ in terms of their demographic, symptoms, and service use characteristics. This project will aim to describe the characteristics and psychotropic medication use in this population.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
