National Clinical Audit of Psychosis

The NCAP is the next phase in the development of the National Audit of Schizophrenia, and is a three-year improvement programme which aims to increase the quality of care that NHS Mental Health Trusts in England and Health Boards in Wales provide to people with psychosis. The audit will examine care being provided to people with psychosis by inpatient and outpatient services using core audit standards, derived from the 2014 NICE schizophrenia guidance.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
