  • Applicant: Vanessa Buckley
  • Project ID: 17-090

-We want to understand the clinical characteristics of young people with bipolar affective disorder who are in touch with child and adolescent mental health teams and to examine what assessments and treatments are currently being offered to them. -We will identify all young people (under 18) over the past five years who have had a diagnosis of bipolar affective disorder and who have been in contact with a child and adolescent mental health team so that we can examine how their difficulties presented when they sought help, how professionals assessed their difficulties and what treatments were offered to them.
