CoCA: Pilot randomized-control phase-IIa trial on the prevention of comorbid depression and obesity in attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (PROUD) | C4C

  • Applicant: Anna Rommel
  • Project ID: 17-091

Low mood, depression, obesity and general health problems are commonly experienced by adolescents and adults with ADHD and can be particular difficult to manage, as well as reducing the quality of life for individuals with ADHD. While current treatments for ADHD are aimed only at improving ADHD symptoms, we will conduct a trial investigating the use of exercise and bright light therapy to improve low mood, weight problems and general health in adolescents and adults with ADHD.
