Characterising current use of advance care planning in people with bipolar

  • Applicant: Osman Hussain
  • Project ID: 17-119

Advance care planning may be an important tool in helping people with bipolar manage crises more effectively however its use in clinical practice is poorly understood. This study will determine how common advance care planning currently is among people with bipolar in an English mental health trust, who engages in it and who does not and how it is used in clinical practice.
