Glutamatergic medication in the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) | C4C

  • Applicant: Cornelia Carey
  • Project ID: 18-001

This project follows on from a previous study which showed a medication called Memantine to be more effective at managing compulsive behaviours in children with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder than other similar medications. This is a study across four centres that aims to study the effect of Memantine on compulsive behaviours in a larger group of children(12-14 children per site) and to compare the effect to a placebo.
