An Analysis of Electronic Mental Health Records to Identify Patterns of Prescribing Take-Home Naloxone (THN) for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) Patients.

Take Home Naloxone (THN) can save the lives of individuals in the immediate aftermath of a heroin overdose. This study will investigate current prescribing patterns of THN in four boroughs of South London, particularly changes over time and following any policy amendments as a result of Parliamentary Acts.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
