A comparative content analysis of advance choice documents in general adult and forensic mental health services following routine implementation
Advance Choice Documents allow service users to state their preferences for care and treatment in case they experience a future mental health crisis. This project will look at and compare these documents from people receiving care in forensic and general adult mental health services. The aim is to understand what treatment preferences people record in real-life practice, whether these differ between service settings, and how this could help improve future care planning
