A comparison of CORE-OM and HONOS-Secure outcome measures in forensic mental health in-patient treatment

  • Applicant: Gerard Drennan

SLaM Forensic in-patient services currently use two clinical tools to score, monitor and assess the state of patients mental health over time However, currently, the electronic patient journey system cannot provide a report of the results of these tools collectively, ie across all patients in the service. Results are only available for individual patients. This study, will aim to extract results from the use of these tools for all patients over time, so the service can assess whether there are clinically significant improvements in patients mental health over time and also see whether these improvements are equally distributed across all the demographic groups using the Service.”
