A novel assessment to detect the adequacy of past psychological treatments for depression: The Maudsley Psychological Treatment Inventory (MPTI) | C4C

  • Applicant: Jess Kerr-Gaffney
  • Project ID: 22-021

Many people with depression do not respond to recommended treatments, such as antidepressants and psychological therapy (termed ‘treatment-resistant depression’). This study will trial a new tool (the Maudsley Psychological Treatment Inventory [MPTI]) to assess whether patients have received an adequate course of psychological therapy (as per clinical guidelines), an important consideration when characterising treatment resistance in depression.
