Activity provision by Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Organisations in inpatient wards
This project will bring local voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations into 25 acute adult mental health inpatient wards to run engaging activities with service users for 12 months. This is intended to increase social connection and reduce boredom during evenings and weekends. We want to understand whether bringing community groups onto our wards improves people’s experience and whether it has any impact on things like incidents or restrictive practice.
