ADHD symptoms to ADHD diagnosis: Examining the factors associated with diagnostic practices

  • Applicant: Mark Kennedy
  • Project ID: 25-021

It is widely established that not all children with symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) will receive a diagnosis, however, the factors underpinning these decisions are less clear. This project aims to quantify the role of individual (e.g., gender) and contextual factors (e.g., childhood adversity) in diagnostic practices.
