Antipsychotic prescribing and physical health in Lambeth: exploring the feasibility of combining primary and secondary care data.

People with severe mental illness may have their medicines prescribed and physical health monitored by either or both of their GP or a community mental health team (CMHT). The health record systems for these two types of service are not currently routinely linked. This study will look at information held by GPs and mental health services to understand where each has gaps that might be filled by information available in the other. This will inform decisions about whether and how linkage of data for patient care should happen in the future.
