Assessment and Management of Pressure Ulcers in SLaM

The aim is to identify all pressure ulcers occuring in SLaM in the past year and compare this with the quantity reported on Datix, to the skin matters group and in the patient safety thermometre (as per trust standards). This is to address issues of under reporting. Further investigation may be needed into the management/treatment of any identified pressure ulcers.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
