Association between clozapine treatment and c-reactive protein levels in patients with treatment resistant schizophrenia

  • Applicant: Bedirhan Senol
  • Project ID: 24-069

Increased inflammation might play a role in treatment resistant schizophrenia (TRS), and clozapine has shown superiority to other antipsychotics in individuals with TRS. This study will investigate the effect of clozapine on C-reactive protein, a marker of inflammation, in patients with schizophrenia, and its effects on clinical symptoms and treatment response.
