Little is understood about the association of antidepressants with suicidality, especially in adults. The study aims to investigate demographic and clinical factors which predict treatment allocation to the different classes of antidepressants, and associations between treatment of depression and suicidality.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
