Associations of mortality and morbidity with antidepressant use in dementia

People with co-occurring depression and dementia are frequently offered antidepressant medication, particularly if the depression is severe or has not responded to other treatments; however, antidepressant side-effects are common, especially in older people. This study aims to examine the relationship between antidepressant prescribing and health outcomes in dementia.
