Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and school exclusion

Research has yet to disentangle the relationship between ADHD diagnosis and school exclusion, or the role that being prescribed ADHD medication may have in this relationship. This study will investigate these issues using linked information from mental healthcare (CRIS) and education (National Pupil Database).

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
