Audit to understand the implementation of the Trust Sexual Safety Policy on inpatient units 2024 to date

The Sexual Safety Policy was implemented in December 2024 and is due for review in autumn 2026. As part of monitoring compliance with the policy and informing its review, we wish to understand how sexual safety is being addressed within patient care, including care planning and admission processes in inpatient services. This project will use CRIS to identify and analyse references to sexual safety within electronic patient records (ePJS), providing an audit of how sexual safety considerations are documented and incorporated into clinical practice.
