The study aims to examine the phenomenology of auditory verbal hallucinations (AVHs) in individuals with Bipolar Disorder (BD) and to investigate cognitive correlates of distress from AVHs in BD, including specific beliefs about AVHs and thinking styles or biases.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
