Biomarkers and Prediction of Response in Psychological Therapy (BioPoRT)
We aim to explore clinical, demographic and genetic predictors of treatment response in patients who have received psychological therapy via the IAPT service at SLaM. This will incorporate two phases: ‘Data extraction from CRIS IAPT’, and ‘collection of new clinical & genetic data, and linkage with CRIS IAPT data’ (this application). During the second phase, the IAPTUS database is screened for those who meet our inclusion criteria, who are then contacted by the clinical team for C4C. On return of consent, participants are contacted by the BioPoRT team. Those consenting are requested to provide new clinical and genetic data, via questionnaires and a saliva sample. We aim to combine new data with data collected from time of treatment for each participant. New data will be stored in a linked anonymised format by allocation of a unique barcode, undergoing linkage with IAPT records via IAPTUS IDs. The link with personal information will be accessible only by lead investigators.
