Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) and its association with suicidal ideation, self-harm and suicide.

Body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) is being increasingly recognised and there is preliminary evidence that the condition is linked with concerningly high rates of suicidal ideation, self-harm and suicide attempts. The current study will examine this relationship a large clinical cohort.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
