The project aims to investigate and understand how ethnic inequalities and other intersectional factors (e.g., age, gender, religion, country of birth, language, occupational social class, area deprivation) affect access to and outcomes of psychological therapy (NHS Talking Therapies, “NHSTT,” previously known as Improving Access to Psychological Therapies, “IAPT”).

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
