Characterisation of individuals undergoing Crisis assessments: a retrospective analysis of routinely collected EHR data.

There is no agreed definition of what constitutes a mental health crisis, and little is known about the characteristics of these episodes or the people affected. This project aims to identify the most frequent patterns of symptoms and risks experienced by individuals during mental health crises, to support future preventive interventions.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
