Characteristics of Patients Treated in a DSPD Service – A Comparison with a Representative Sample of MSU Patients

This study will ascertain demographic, clinical, and forensic characteristics of SLaM patients treated within a specialist Dangerous and Severe Personality Disorder (DSPD) service, and compare these with patients treated within standard medium secure unit (MSU) wards.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
