Clinical outcomes related to augmenting an antipsychotic with an anti-convulsant medication in schizophrenia
When symptoms of schizophrenia do not respond adequately to an antipsychotic, sometimes clinicians add an anticonvulsant medication to the antipsychotic treatment. This study aims to investigate the extent to which anticonvulsants have been used as an antipsychotic augmentation strategy within SLaM, and the associated health outcomes.
