Closing the gap in identifying eating disorders

This study will examine potential reasons for delays in eating disorders diagnosis. We will compare differences in clinical characteristics and outcomes between individuals whose first contact with SLaM is for an eating disorder and those who develop an eating disorder from other mental disorders.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
