Cognitive trajectories and dementia risk in patients with schizophrenia

This study investigates memory loss in people with schizophrenia, and whether this resembles dementia. Although some studies have reported that patients with schizophrenia have a higher risk of dementia, it is unclear whether this is related to brain changes or could be better explained by other factors.
