Comparison of health outcomes among patients who are in community treatment orders (CTOs) receiving antipsychotic long-acting injections.

  • Project ID: 22-079

There is a particular interest, and some controversy, regarding the effectiveness of community treatment orders (CTOs) and antipsychotic long-acting injections (LAIs) on health outcomes e.g., relapse prevention for people with psychosis. The project will investigate health outcomes (relapse prevention, adherence to psychiatric medication, physical health hospitalisations) in patients with psychosis, comparing people with/ without CTOs and those who are/ are not prescribed LAIs.
