Delayed Discharge 2007 to 2017

South London and Maudsley’s inpatient services have been under greater stress in recent years. Anecdotal evidence suggests that the number of delayed discharges due to housing problems may have increased since a research study covering the 2007 to 2009 period. We will look at the contribution of housing problems to length of stay and costs of inpatient services, looking at how this has varied over time and between boroughs.
