Developing an individualised prognostic model for the prediction of suicide risk amongst individuals with a borderline personality disorder diagnosis

  • Applicant: Yanakan Logeswaran
  • Project ID: 24-076

People with a borderline personality disorder (BPD) diagnosis have higher rates of suicide than those in the general population. Despite this increased risk, suicide is rare and difficult to predict. This project aims to use clinical information to identify individuals with a BPD diagnosis who may be at greater risk of suicide, in order to improve care and prevent suicide.
