Developing Culturally Responsive Early Intervention Practices for Children with Autism / Social Communication Difficulties
Early intervention services in CAMHS (e.g. Children Wellbeing Practitioner and Mental Health in Schools Services) deliver guided self help interventions for parents of children experiencing mild to moderate anxiety, but these are not standardised for children with Autism or social communication difficulties and there are queries about how to ensure they can be delivered in a way that is culturally responsive.
