Development and validation of a prediction tool for the transition from substance-induced psychosis to schizophrenia

This project aims to predict patients’ likelihood of developing schizophrenia after experiencing substance-induced psychosis, using electronic health record data of patients in SLaM and Oxford Health Trusts to study the demographic, social and clinical factors associated with a new diagnosis of schizophrenia following substance-induced psychosis.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
