Epidemiology of Special Educational Needs: Who gets access to support in school, and how does this correspond with access to Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services?

This project will investigate how support services in England are functioning for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), for those being treated for mental health difficulties by child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS), and whether social inequalities exist where two services overlap for certain children but not others.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
