Attending regular psychotherapy is a cost-effective way of supporting people with a personality disorder. This study will investigate changes in attendance at potentially less-helpful NHS services before and after psychotherapy service treatment, focussing particularly on hospital admission and other NHS appointments.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
