Examining Events Data in CRIS to Establish Appropriate Ways of Costing it for Health Economic Analyses

This project aims to • Establish the ratio of time spent in face-to-face contacts to all activity for the range of professionals employed by SLaM • Estimate the average duration of contact with various professionals • Investigate the reliability of contact durations recorded in CRIS • Examine the appropriate costing of contacts that were not attended by the patient without notice • Investigating which variables need to be accounted for when costing community services This will be of value for any future health economic analysis undertaken using CRIS.

The Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) system is a computer system that allows researchers at the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) to carry out research using information from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust clinical records.
